Examples of activities: |
|
Ensuring the school has sufficient good quality cycle storage – We have been fortunate enough to secure two rather posh cycle sheds that we have not had to pay for! These would normally cost a few thousand pounds! "Dr. Bike" maintenance sessions to make sure bikes are safe to ride, and optional bike maintenance lessons for pupils. Awareness raising events like Bike Breakfasts, Bike to School Week, Brighten Up Your Bike and Yourself. Optional classroom sessions on cycling and health/the environment, cycling safety and art based projects etc. Support to make sure as many pupils as possible get good quality cycle training. Information for staff, parents and students on routes and other cycling issues. |
